But when disaster strikes our team excel! They have the backup of a large company and support of each other to get stuck in and make things happen.

SICON is a leader of infrastructure services and civil projects mainly in the Canterbury Region. Our company business philosophy is "Infrastructure Built on Trust". We employ over 260 local and loyal people working hard for the communities we live and play in.

We are proud to be owned by the Selwyn District Council and currently maintain Selwyn’s infrastructure for 3 Waters, Parks & Reserves and the Resource Recovery Park. We also have maintenance contracts in Waimakariri, Hurunui and Timaru Districts.

Our Civil Construction division completes roading and water projects for the above mentioned councils as well as other projects for Christchurch City Council, Queenstown Lakes District Council and Otakaro. We also specialise in large scale projects and work collaboratively with our key private clients including Ngai Tahu, Lincoln University, Bidfood, Naylor Love, Carter Group and Ryman Healthcare.
